Our Path So Far
Since 2017, The Harraseeket Foundation has been helping young people imagine their future and take meaningful steps toward fulfilling careers and purposeful lives. Through partnerships with nonprofits, schools, employers, and faith communities, we’ve continued to grow and expand our impact. Check out our milestones below to see how our programs have evolved over the years!
2017-2018
Established a youth mentoring program at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in McLean.
2019
Began supporting additional faith organizations with youth mentoring and workshops.
2019-2020
Continued with virtual support during the pandemic and added “Guide Teams”.
2020-2021
Collaborated with Communities in Schools in supporting underserved Wakefield High School students with internships.
2021-2022
Established IGNITE partnership with Fairfax County Public Schools and launched a program in Herndon High School.
2022-2023
Supported Workforce Development Initiatives at Herndon High School with an Internship Fair, a Career Fair, and small group Career Mentoring.
2024-2025
Launched Imagining Your Future program.
